About The Founder |
Prof. (Dr) Madan Mohan Verma is the Founder & President of Interfaith Foundation of India. He has the widest network of Interfaith scholars in India and abroad. He is one of the most authentic and trustworthy scholars of world’s major religious scriptures.
He is Prof. & Chair of Religious Harmony at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education, Deemed University, Rajasthan since 2012. He was associated with Delhi University both as a student and as Professor for 40 years. He has supervised research projects of eminent scholars &HoD’s of Delhi University and JNU, among others.
During the last 15 years, he significantly contributed to the cause of Interfaith harmony through lectures, conferences, seminars, workshops, and writings, and through intimate personal interaction with religious leaders and scholars of different faith traditions. He has been many a time honoured at conferences/events.He has organized and presented papers in more than one hundred conferences, seminars, workshops, and round tables with fifty-seven visits abroad. |

Above all, Prof. Verma is known for his humility and compassionate behaviour, looking for an opportunity to serve all. He sincerely practices the principle of Nishkam Karma, promotes Sarvodaya, and worships the Lord in the well-being of all. Prof. Verma looks after persons from the weaker classes as his own children.
