Community Development

Peaceful coexistence of different faith traditions is imperative for development and prosperity in the society. Interfaith Foundation India has always preached and practiced the values of pluralism, democracy, constitutional systems and peaceful coexistence, which are rooted in the Vedas. However, during the long span of history several wars, battles, internecine feuds and communal riots, due to multiple factors, created destruction and turmoil in the society. But at the end of the day, it’s the poor and the ignorant masses, irrespective of their religious beliefs, who are the victims of violence.

It’s a common knowledge that ambitious political leaders and their religious surrogates have always created hatred among the people to strengthen their respective vote banks.

Interfaith Foundation, through conferences, workshops, round table discussions and publications has been making consistent efforts to promote social bonhomie by highlighting the commonalities in the religious scriptures. The Foundation firmly believes that the subject matter of all religions is the same. Although there is so much of mistrust among religious communities, yet there is much more in common in their scriptures than what is generally believed. Our focus is on the universal ethical values incorporated in all spiritual scriptures. Interfaith Foundation believes in VasudaivaKudumbakum, the whole world is one family.
